1. Overview
This policy describes the information practices of Wayout Solutions LLC for the Workamathing iOS app, public website, and supporting relay service.
Workamathing is an independently developed, approved and licensed Workamajig® partner product. It connects to Workamajig® but is not the Workamajig® application itself. Your organization controls its Workamajig® environment and determines who is authorized to connect. Workamajig® remains the source of the records and notifications shown in the app.
2. Information we handle
Information supplied by your organization
The service stores the organization name when provided, its normalized Workamajig® hostname, and the opaque company identifier supplied through the authorized connection process.
Installation and device information
For each connected installation, the service stores a generated installation identifier, a digest of the client authentication token, an opaque Workamajig® user identifier, platform, app version, notification preference, APNs environment, APNs device token, connection timestamps, and limited synchronization diagnostics.
Credentials kept on the device
Workamajig® credentials and the Workamathing session credential are stored in iOS Keychain. The Workamathing relay does not receive or store the Workamajig® API access token or user token.
Notification and record data
Workamajig® sends notification content and opaque routing identifiers to the relay. The relay validates and temporarily places a compact notification payload in its delivery queue so it can send the notification through Apple Push Notification service (APNs). The relay does not maintain a server-side inbox or approval-record history.
The app retrieves supported notification and record data directly from the connected Workamajig® environment. That information is stored locally on the device so the Inbox can function. Approval actions are sent from the app to Workamajig®.
Connection, logs, and diagnostics
The service processes company and installation connection status, request identifiers, event timestamps, app version, success or failure codes, bounded duration and item counts, correlation identifiers, and standard web-server logs. Sensitive request fields and notification content are filtered from normal request logs.
Support communications
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, app and iOS versions, a short installation identifier, and a description of the issue. Please do not send credentials, QR codes, tokens, or private record content.
Public website data
The current public pages are server-rendered, do not require an account, and do not include analytics, advertising trackers, or error-reporting scripts. They do not intentionally set marketing cookies. The hosting stack may process ordinary access logs needed to serve and protect the site.
3. How we use information
- Connect an authorized installation to the correct customer organization.
- Authenticate the installation and confirm that company access remains active.
- Route supported notifications to the correct installation through APNs.
- Provide supported record views and approval actions through the connected Workamajig® environment.
- Detect delivery, connection, and synchronization failures and maintain service security.
- Respond to support, privacy, access, and deletion requests.
Workamathing does not sell personal information and the current implementation does not use information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Service providers and sharing
Information is shared only as needed to operate the service, follow your organization’s instructions, comply with law, or protect the service and its users.
- Apple. APNs processes device tokens and notification payloads to deliver notifications to iOS devices.
- Hosting infrastructure. DigitalOcean (United States) processes application, database, queue, backup, and access-log data on our behalf.
- Workamajig®. The app communicates with the Workamajig® environment selected by your organization to retrieve supported information and submit authorized actions.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash-reporting services, or error-monitoring services. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising tracking.
5. Retention
- Company and installation records are retained while needed to provide and secure the service, and until access is removed or the record is deleted under the operator’s retention process.
- Notification payloads may remain in queued, retryable, or failed delivery jobs. Finished delivery jobs are cleared on a scheduled basis; failed jobs require operational review and cleanup.
- Sanitized operational events are retained for 30 days. The dedicated notification-pipeline log is configured for 30 daily compressed rotations.
- General server-log retention: Web-server log files use 14 daily archived rotations; notification-pipeline log files use 30 daily archived rotations.
- Support communication retention: Up to 12 months after a request is resolved, unless longer retention is necessary to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation.
- Database backups are created daily; backup files older than 14 days are removed by the scheduled backup process.
- Notification history stored in the app is removed from that device when the user disconnects.
6. Security
Workamathing uses measures intended to protect information, including HTTPS in production, generated installation credentials stored as digests on the server, iOS Keychain storage for device credentials, per-company webhook authentication, filtered sensitive logging, restricted administrative access, and separation between public pages and authenticated service routes.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Users and organizations should protect their devices and Workamajig® access and promptly remove access that is no longer authorized.
7. Access, deletion, and disconnection
A user can disconnect the current installation from Workamathing Settings. This invalidates the server-side installation, clears its APNs identity, and removes saved credentials and notification history from that device.
To request access to or deletion of other information associated with an installation or organization, email support@wayoutsolutionsllc.com. We may need to coordinate with the customer organization and verify authority before completing a request. Requests concerning records held by Workamajig® should be directed to the customer organization or Workamajig®, as appropriate.
You can disable notifications in iOS Settings. Doing so stops alert presentation but does not by itself disconnect the installation.
8. Children’s privacy
Workamathing is a business application intended solely for users authorized by a customer organization. It is not directed to children under 13, and the operator does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may change as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective and last-updated dates above identify the current published version. Material changes should be communicated through an appropriate service or organizational channel.
